I have wanted this book ever since it was announced. I don't know what it is about it but the plot sounds like something I would really enjoy! Just the collection of characters I can tell that it's going to be a very intense novel that I'm sure I'd enjoy. Now as it's set in the Grisha world, I feel really bad that I haven't actually read the Grisha trilogy yet. I'll get to it eventually because it also sounds like something I'd really be able to sink my teeth into. From what I believe this is a totally separate sorry so it's not necessarily to read the other trilogy. If I enjoy this book then I'll definitely delve into the Grisha series.

For some reason recently I've really been wanting to get back into Sci-Fi. I loved Armada, it really put me in the zone but it's just not enough. I need something fresh! Illuminae sounds absolutely superb! If it's anything like what I've heard Amie Kaufman's Starbound trilogy then it'll be a good one. Luckily enough I'm actually being sent a proof of this book by the publisher so it's definitely one I'm really excited for! I'm also really intrigued to see how it's told through different documents, it will be a really new and interesting concept to absorb the story from.

I cannot wait to get my teeth into this book. Luckily I have an advanced reader copy waiting for me to dive straight into, but first I think I need to have a re-read or at least a refresh of the first book in this series. The only issue being the first book is almost 600 pages long... From what I remember of the first book, I fell in love with the writing, the characters were dynamic and the plot was creepy and intense. A perfect thriller type novel that I was completely sucked into. I barely remember the novel taking me much time at all however I feel that it will definitely drag the second time around. They usually do. I need to get a start on this one ASAP because I have Chelle from Tales of Yesterday waiting to do a buddy read with me for Lair of Dreams!

Ahh I absolutely adored the first book, Red Queen! I thought the pacing was amazing, the blend of abilities and frankly I thought the writing style was gorgeous. The only issue I had with it was how amazingly tragic the ending was, and how being left on a partial cliffhanger, Victoria Aveyard teased us in making us wait for the second book! I literally am going to have the hardcover of this book pre-ordered ASAP because I can't wait much longer!

Ever since I've seen people ranting on about how amazing this is and their eagerness to pick up an ARC at BEA I have been all over this book. I literally cannot wait to pick it up and read it! Also, Susan is best friends with Sarah J Maas and if her writing and world building is anything like Sarah's series then I know this is going to be a complete hit with me! January cannot come sooner!

So ever since I fell madly in love with Rick Riordan's writing, I've been waiting for him to produce a work of art based around Norse Mythology - something that Rick admits he's extremely passionate for and someday he wanted to write a novel about them. Here it is! It comes out in October and it's clear there's going to be some links to the already established world that are made very clear if you've read the Percy Jackson/Heroes of Olympus series. I didn't enjoy the Kane Chronicles as much as the PJO/HOO series because I wasn't too invested in Egyptian mythology however Norse really intruiges me and I'm very exited to see Rick's take on it!

So this book has been pitched at the next Fault in Our Stars or Eleanor and Park. That is totally not something we've ever heard before about an upcoming contemporary, right? However there is something about this one that captures my attention more than the other comparisons, but I just can't put my finger on it. I adore the cover for this one, I think it works really well and is extremely bold and vibrant. I'm very excited to pick this book up in September - hopefully I can try and obtain a proof before then because that would make me ecstatic! Especially with how amazing the proof covers are.... *drools*

For some reason I cannot wait to get my hands on this! At the minute I've been on such a craving for retelling or adaptation novels and this one is focused around 1001 Nights , such an intense set of stories and this premise just sounds absolutely wonderful and I can't wait to get my hands on it! October cannot come sooner!

Years ago, Shoya Ishida led his peers in tormenting a hearing-impaired classmate, Shoko Nishimiya. When she transfers schools, Shoya finds he has gone from bully to bullied, and is left completely alone. Now Shoya struggles to redeem himself in Shoko's eyes and to face the classmates who turned on him. He learns sign language to apologise to Shoko for his behaviour, and so begins a relationship that will change his and Shoko's lives forever.

So this is the first manga that I've featured on my Waiting on Wednesday feature and I'm so glad it is. I only recently heard about A Silent Voice after it was compared to be The Fault in Our Stars of all manga. So naturally I was curious, and although this entire saga has been released in Japan, it only starts to come out in English at the end of this month. The only issue is that because it's a manga we have to wait until it's all been translated - I don't think the next volume comes out for a few months. It's nothing to wait in comparison to a book sequel but because manga's are so short, it makes the wait even more torturous. I am so excited to be adding this to my wish list of purchases to buy in the near future.

After all of the build up of the previous four books in the Lunar Chronicles series I am so desperate for the final instalment! It feels like an age that we've been waiting for this book so I am so glad it's concluding at the end of this year. Saying that, I am in no way happy that this series is coming to an end because frankly I love it so much. It's the perfect adaptations of fairy tales whilst still having a great deal of originality to the plot! If you haven't check out the Lunar Chronicles then you seriously need to!

Ahh I just had to choose this book, especially with the title, cover and the blurb being revealed yesterday. You can read the full article and see both the US and UK covers here. The first book in the series left me in a puddle of feels and left me eagerly anticipating more from this world and the characters and Victoria's writing is just so beautiful. I could not put ADSOM down so when AGOS is released in February, you bet I'm going to jump on it and devour it in a single sitting!

I have heard a lot of discussion about this book and how it delves into what is true friendship as well as dealing with categories such as grief ect. It's been getting decent reviews so far so I'm exited to be getting to this - hopefully I can get an ARC of it before it's release!

Frankly this synopsis just sounds epic. I mean you're getting time travel, a journey across continents, adventure, piercing together clues - I don't think you could really ask for more. I've read The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken and while I haven't yet completed that series, this new one just seems extremely intriguing! Although quite different, I'm getting a sort of A Darker Shade of Magic vibe from this book and if it's anything similar to ADSOM, then we'll all be in for a treat. It's just a shame we have to wait until January 2016 to find out!

I read New World: Rising recently and thoroughly enjoyed it. It's a hearty dystopian novel, fast paced and gripping with relatable characters. The sequel, New World: Ashes is due to release July 10th 2015 and frankly I cannot wait for it! What if you were like Mikey? Who just wants to graduate and go to prom and maybe finally work up the courage to ask Henna out before someone goes and blows up the high school. Again. Because sometimes there are problems bigger than this week’s end of the world and sometimes you just have to find the extraordinary in your ordinary life. Even if your best friend might just be the God of mountain lions...



Can we just sit and admire this cover for a moment please because frankly I think it's absolutely stunning and the premise just sounds fantastic! We're so used to reading about the 'chosen one' in YA books these days, so why can't we have an ordinary character for a chance? I can't wait to try and get an early proof of this book because it is probably one of my top five anticipated reads of the year!
